VIDEO: Rebuilding a flooded community

In the spring of 2017, the southern Missouri town of Van Buren saw a record 37-foot flood, eight feet higher than the previous record set in 1904. The water ran through the town and into about 185 houses, destroying 55 of them. Even with some houses quarantined and marked for demolition, the community seems optimistic going forward.


Columbia College’s ‘League of Legends’ players look to future careers

Connor Doyle is a junior Columbia College transfer student from Waterville, Maine, who moved to go to college and play “League of Legends.” Doyle got his first taste of competitive gaming through “Call of Duty,” and he has played competitive “League of Legends” since 2013. Throughout his life, Doyle played soccer, baseball and other competitive sports. Now he plays competitively using a keyboard and mouse.
